Dan Dulyea… current vice president of the Berkeley County Council… officially filed pre-candidacy paperwork for mayor of Martinsburg Tuesday afternoon. Dulyea said he plans to run because he wants to bring about some changes which he believes will facilitate and further growth here in the Eastern Panhandle. Dulyea said he has no issues with the current mayor and city manager… referring to them as “good guys who have done an amazing amount for Martinsburg.” He simply said his experience and heavy local involvement, gives him the background he thinks is needed to continue to help the city grow. Dulyea has lived in Berkeley County for 39 years.
