The people involved in a family owned business in Kearneysville are still trying to pick up the pieces and move forward, after someone broke in and stole a lot of handmade furniture. Police say it was last Wednesday night, when thieves struck the showroom at Lawrence Crouse Workshop… builders of custom furniture… and swiped what they say were about 15 of the most expensive and valuable pieces they had. The pieces are distinctive, and have the Crouse workshop brand burned onto the bottom of them. They hope that if someone does come across the pieces, they contact them. Anyone with information about the robbery or any of the stolen pieces, should call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 304-728-3205.
